Take it from Granny Hazel: Attaining a College Degree is a Must
Posted On 06/22/2010 22:36:02 by madeline

It is a challenging world especially as the US economy starts rising again. However the jobs that are mainly offered nowadays shows preferences on College graduates. employment verification on those who have worked before on the same field yet lack a degree have a certain saving grace when it comes to their application yet it is undeniable how much being a college grad pays a lot.

Before the recession, kids back then seems to be less interested in earning a degree. I have met such Americans youths (take note there are also at their early twenties) who have settled on having a job and never minding on getting a college degree. Background check does show that before people have seen even high pays for blue collar jobs.

In Yahoo Updates, I was at awe and total admiration for a 94 year old woman's determination to finish a college degree. Just when there are youths who took it so lightly, someone as old as Hazel Soarez from San Leandro graduated last Saturday during a commencement exercise at Mills College. With 6 children, 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Soares is presently believed to be the second oldest person ever graduate in college. Records search shows that the Guinness awarded Nola Ochs from Kansas as the oldest after graduating at the age of 95 three years ago. At present she recently finished her masters in Liberal Studies at Fort Hays.

There are those who have done studies on the number of students who have pursued a college degree. This was more than just a spectacle of numbers but rather an encouragement as well. There are even parents who have gone to lengths such as doing a US people search to check on people whom they think can best handle encouragement and education for their kids.

I must say that conducting such Background check service on the number of college graduates, even on America alone, is something that the government should concentrate more since it is important for the future of the nation. President Obama at present expresses his agreement on college being very important as he pushes to once again make the United States lead in having the most number of those who went to college by 2020. Education is indeed very important--this is a treasure we can give ourselves and none can take away.
